ROUND UP...!!! ROUND UP...!!!

Two games have passed since I last update my blog. Blame it on work and NO time. So lets get to the point.

The first one is the EPL match between Liverpool and Manchester City (yes the local rivals of Man U).
Results => Liverpool 2-1 Man City...!!!

This game was full of passion as it pits Liverpool and their 'old boys'. On the field that was old boy and still a club/crowd favourite, Robbie Fowler. At one time they say that he was over weight and his butt was too heavy. But he looks fit on that nite.

Then there's was Steve Mcmanaman who was inspiring towards the end of the match which would have embarrased the Reds.

Then there was another crowd favourite for reasons which fans would like to forget, is the Armani model goalkeeper David 'Calamity' James. Wanna know why calamity...ask any Red fans. Ahahahahaaaa...!!!

Then of course, last but not least, Kevin 'King Kenny' Keegan. Well this was one tru Liverpool FC legend during his palying days and brought many a success to LFC. Heck...I still admire him for his attacking (kamikaze more like it) tactics instilled in Man City. But simpathy would have to be extended as Man City is in their worst run since gawd knows when.

Anyhowz, anywayz, these old guards still command an standing ovation when ever they return to Anfield, Liverpool.

Okie...on to the game...as I did not catch the game live (not sure if it was live or not coz i still dont know), it was reported that the game was quite exciting. Maybe it was more of the fact that both Owen and Gerrard (two of the most precociously talented youngsters) scored. With this win, we are not 4th in the EPL standing.

It was however also reported that LFC still played far below they capabilities with some under achievers. Again, Gerrard gets the gong for Man-Of-The-Match. Even though were at 4th placed first time in the season, we are not assured yet. We still have Newcastle, Charlton, Aston Villa, Fulham and Birmingham (with one game in hand) breathin down our necks.

At the moment however, I would take victory in any which way it might come. I dun care...4th is better than mid-table mediocrity. So lets hope they keep on winning...!!!
